Whenever I think about going back to experimenting with Windows or Android app development, I always return to this:

The Apple developer ecosystem is blessed like no other. With the same codebase, you can hit watch, phone, tablet, desktop, TV, and now AR/VR, for a vast consumer base that 1) values quality, and 2) can afford to pay for it. Every year there are more tools in the toolbox to create better apps. Every year new devices that push performance and enable entirely new things to be built

Was passiert, wenn ein Landkreis von einem Cyber-Angriff lahmgelegt wird? Wenn Sozialhilfen nicht ausgezahlt werfen und es literally keine Formulare für gar nix gibt? Wer hilft? Wer schwätzt nur rum für teuer Geld? Was kann der Bund? Und: Wer greift da an?

Im italienischen Seregno kam erst Hagel runter, und zwar richtig viel. Dann kam es zu einer Überschwemmung, die ganze Eisschollen durch die Innenstadt trieb. Und jetzt schippen die Anwohner Schnee. Ein ganz normaler Sommer im Jahre 2023.

Braucht hier noch irgendwer ein Camp-Ticket mit Badge? Bei mir passt es leider doch nicht – hab’s für 380€ (+36,20€ für badge mit Batterie) gekauft. Hätte am liebsten das ganze Geld wieder, Preis ist sonst aber auch verhandelbar. Könnte mir zB vorstellen, euch das Badge zu schenken :)

@matt I understand the nope-to-subs perspective, but they are out of touch with reality. There’s no other sustainable way to create commercial indie software for iOS. It’s either subs or free hobbyware.

Also, while the anti-substers are very vocal, in my opinion they’re a vocal minority of zealots. Developers should ignore them, not placate them.
